EVEN MORE QUIET

The Thunder Beast 338 ULTRA was quiet.  Really quiet.  It was quiet enough to cause shot timers to not register properly during competition.   TBAC took this, and improved it.  The Gen 2 has 3dB better performance on 338 Laupa, and is 7dB quieter on .308. It retails all of the great aspects of the previous, with the standard (BA) version still being under 18 ounces.  It's just over 134 dB at the muzzle with 338 Lapua, and low 120s at the ear.  

The 338 Ultra Gen 2 is available in both standard (BA) and SR models.  The Ultra 338 utilizes the same BA brakes and is compatible with both 338 BA and 30 BA muzzle devices.  The 338 Ultra - SR uses TBAC's SR series of muzzle devices for additional retention.

The 338 Ultra has always been one of the most respected .338 Lapua Magnum silencers on the market.  It's quiet, light, and most of all designed for use with precision rifles.  It's often considered *the* choice of serious 338 shoots and dominates the competition circuit.  The reduced concussion and recoil often allows shooters to confirm hits or analyze trace without an additional spotter.  Gen 2 takes everything that made the original great and makes it better.  It maintains similar features, but with increased performance.  It's exactly what it needs to be, and now even quieter.
