The SureFire SOCOM556-RC2 is a full-size 5.56 rifle suppressor built from Inconel baffles and a stainless steel tube. It mounts with SureFire's Fast-Attach system over a SureFire muzzle device and is full-auto rated for 5.56 barrels 10 inches and longer.

NOTE
This suppressor mounts with SureFire's Fast-Attach system and requires a SureFire muzzle device. The SOCOM 3-Prong Flash Hider provides the best suppression based on independent testing. The WARCOMP adds flash hiding when shooting unsuppressed but raises sound levels slightly when the suppressor is attached.

The SOCOM556-RC2 Fast Attach suppressor is SureFire's latest full-sized 5.56 suppressor. This 2nd-Gen model features a new front-plate and baffle enhancements from the original SOCOM design making them even stronger and better performing. Constructed from Inconel and Stainless Steel, the SOCOM556-RC2 features a more advanced internal venting system to reduce back pressure, reducing the suppressed cyclic rate and gas blowback on the operator. The redesigned front-plate eliminates first-round flash.
This second generation SOCOM556-RC2 securely mounts to previous generation SureFire muzzle brakes or flash hiders and produces minimal, consistent shift in point of impact.
