SUREFIRE BLACKOUT SUPPRESSION
The SureFire SOCOM300-SPS was designed specifically to reduce 300 Blackout subsonic and supersonic ammo down to the quietest level possible from a precision-built suppressor. The 300-SPS boasts the most (at the muzzle) decibel reduction of any SureFire suppressor to date. In addition to Blackout, it's also rated up to 300 Winchester Magnum and can handle any centerfire cartridge below that. The 300-SPS has the same features that have awarded SureFire many US Special Operations Command (SOCOM) victories and military contracts. The specialized V-shaped baffle design promotes extreme decibel reduction and eliminates flash and dust signatures.
Constructed of Inconel alloy and stainless steel, the SOCOM300-SPS still utilizes the patented Fast-Attach mounting system for easy installation and removal.
- 120dB - .300 Blackout subsonic
- 129dB - 7.62x51
- 134dB - 5.56
- 137dB - .300 WM
CAPITOL ARMORY'S OPINION
The SureFire SOCOM300-SPS is a bit of a deviation to SureFire's normal rifle-suppressor lineup. For most of their cans, SureFire has really leaned toward ultra-low backpressure and flash suppression. They build suppressors towards the needs of the military, not necessarily the desires of civilians. The 300-SPS is their first rifle suppressor that meets the needs of civilians first, rather than military. It still has excellent flash reduction, but is much quieter at the muzzle than some of their other cans. If you've always liked SureFire but wished they had a bit more quiet at-the-muzzle suppressor, the SOCOM300-SPS is it.
