Most fighting rifles are assembled from a parts list. The MK1 CAR is engineered as a system. The billet upper, lower, and rail are machined as a matched set with DriveLock tabs and recesses, which means you get a lockup that forged receivers simply cannot replicate. Add a polygonal-rifled P3 barrel with sub-MOA potential, an NP3-coated BCG, and a Liberty 2-stage trigger, and you have a rifle that will outperform most anything in its class right out of the box. If you want a fighting rifle that is actually built like one, the MK1 is it.
