The Resilient Putnik is a dedicated AK suppressor built around two design problems specific to the platform: non-concentric barrel threads and excessive backpressure. The Putnik addresses the threading issue with a progressive bore that provides clearance tolerance for the loose machining common to AK barrels, reducing the baffle strike risk that makes many suppressors unsuitable for AK use. Backpressure is managed through Resilient's Triaxial baffle technology, shared with the Resilient Jolene, which reduces backpressure by up to 40% compared to conventional AK suppressors. That reduction keeps bolt speed in check and minimizes port-pop blowback on short-barreled hosts. Under 6 inches long, full-auto rated, and built from stainless steel and titanium with a HUB 1.375x24 mount. Ships with an M24x1.5mm direct thread mount. AK suppression is a genuinely different engineering problem than suppressing an AR. The non-concentric threads and loose tolerances common to AK barrels mean that a suppressor with a tight bore that works fine on a precision-threaded AR can cause baffle strikes on an AK. The progressive bore on the Putnik is a direct answer to that problem, and it is one of the things that separates it from suppressors that technically fit an AK but were not designed with AK manufacturing tolerances in mind.

The Triaxial baffle design's backpressure reduction also matters more on the AK platform than it might on others.
