Under ATF's October 9 policy, you can buy a suppressor on a 4473 in some states. We still recommend a Form 4: it stays compliant if the policy changes, and ATF approvals come back in days.

Q EL CAMINO SUPPRESSOR - TITANIUM .22 LR RIMFIRE SILENCER, FULL-AUTO RATED
The Q El Camino is a lightweight titanium rimfire suppressor built for .22 LR, .22 WMR, .17 HMR, and 5.7x28, designed to be easy to run, easy to clean, and tough enough that you don't have to baby it. It measures 6" long and 1" in diameter, weighs 4.3 oz, and pairs a titanium tube with stainless steel baffles under a PVD finish. Q also rates the El Camino for full-auto use.
Inside, every baffle is the same shape, so there's no dedicated blast baffle and no set order to remember. The stainless steel baffles form a sealed stack that keeps fouling out of the tube, and the front end cap comes off with a standard 1/2" socket, so cleaning doesn't call for any special tools. As for weight, Q says it's about the same as a stick of butter.
The El Camino mounts with a 1/2x28 direct thread and works on rimfire pistols and rifles alike, and it pairs with our Rifle Thread Spacer for hosts with longer barrel threads. Shooters who want something lighter and fully modular for .22 LR should check out the Q Erector.
CAPITOL ARMORY'S OPINION
The El Camino was Q's very first suppressor, and it's still a great example of what Q does well. It's a traditional tube design, but Q put real thought into the little details that make other rimfire cans annoying. Every baffle is identical, so there's no special order to worry about when you put it back together, and all you need to get it apart is a 1/2" socket.
It's durable and light, the shielded baffle stack makes cleaning a lot less of a chore, and first round pop is minimal enough that it works great on both pistols and rifles. If you want a rimfire can you can just run hard without fuss, especially on 5.7x28 or a full-auto host, the El Camino is worth a look. And if you'd rather have something even lighter that you can set to whatever length you want, take a look at the Erector.
