MAC M10A1 - 9mm - Test Fired Only
This pre-1986 transferable Mac 10A1 is chambered in 9mm and stamped Military Armament Corp, Stephenville Texas. The previous owner purchased the firearm new-in-box. The barrel was replaced by TMP Outfitters with both 1/2x28 threads and 3-lug functionality allowing modern suppressors to be mounted without additional work or adapters.
Although it has been fired, the wear is so minimal that we would consider it to be test-fired only. Wear on the firecontrol group is condusive with extremely minor amounts of use. The exterior finish represents this as well. This is an ideal gun for someone looking for a shooter that is in fantastic condition or a collection piece.
This M10A1 has a single feed bolt. Although it is stamped as being made in Texas, there are some abnormalities setting it apart from "Texas MACs." The welds indicate TIG. The magwell, safety, fire controls, and stock appear to be SWD. Because of the differences, it is a very very strong indication that SW Daniels purchased the flat and completed the build. In terms of builders, Daniels is considered superior to Leatherwood samples built in Texas.
