LayerX Suppression builds each suppressor around a specific host. The company designs and tests in Livonia, Michigan, and prints every can as a single piece with no welds. The LayerX Strake 9 is a titanium 9mm suppressor for MP5s, PCCs and 9mm PDWs: 6.5 inches, 8.5 ounces, full-auto rated, with very low back pressure. PEW Science gave it a 48.5 composite rating on an HK SP5 (SSS.6.231). The Strake 9K is the compact version at 5.2 inches and 6.4 ounces, and the Raster 5K is a 5.02-inch Haynes 282 suppressor for 5.56 and 6mm carbines.
