KEEP FIRING
Guns, like all machines, need a bit of love to keep them working properly. When you add on a suppressor, our favorite arms tend to get even more dirty than normal. At Capitol Armory, we've used a lot of different products and put a whole lot of rounds down range. It's been a never ending battle to keep suppressed machine guns running under extremely adverse conditions. Thousands of rounds between cleaning are a frequent occurrence at demo days, and when testing silencers we push our firearms to the limit.
We've found the overly thick lubricants can gum-up parts such as firing pin channels, and some of the ones too light just don't last under hard use. A lot of the novelty ones work well, but carry a higher price tag. There's a balance between an affordable lube, without gimmicks, that comes in at a good price point.
