A QUIETER M&P
The Hush Puppy Project M&P9 2.0 is everything you would expect in a suppressor-ready full size M&P 2.0. It ships with 2 17 round magazines, user customized backstraps, suppressor height sights, and a 1/2x28 factory threaded barrel.
What makes this specific M&P special is the addition of a Slide Lock Device from the Hush Puppy Project. When activated, the slide is locked into place and unable to move after the shot is fired. To extract the empty brass and re-chamber a round, the pistol has to be manually cycled. When the Slide Lock Device (SLD) is not activated, the pistol will function as normal. If the SLD is activated, there is no mechanical noise of the slide moving, as well as no port noise when firing. This removes two components of noise when shooting suppressed, leaving only the muzzle noise to be quelled by the suppressor. Because of this upgrade, the Hush Puppy M&P is one of the quietest suppressed pistols on the market.
