Stealth Additive Works Buying Guide

The Tisha 5.56, Tisha 30 and the rest of the Stealth Additive Works lineup: what PEW Science measured, titanium vs. Inconel, mounts, availability, and how the models compare.

Where to start

How to Choose a Stealth Additive Works Suppressor

Stealth Additive Works (SAW) is a suppressor maker in Twin Falls, Idaho. Its suppressors are 3D printed from Grade 5 (ELI) titanium, and the Tisha also comes in 718 Inconel. Every SAW suppressor carries a no-fault lifetime warranty.

Pick by caliber and use:

  • 5.56 and 6mm SBRs and carbines: the Tisha 5.56, a 4.1 in. K-size can. Titanium is lighter; Inconel is built for heat.
  • .30 cal, AK and 300 BLK: the Tisha 30, the same 4.1 in. body with a .30 cal bore, in titanium or Inconel.
  • Light full-size titanium: the Ekron 5.56 (9 oz) or Ekron .30 (9.9 oz).
  • Precision and hunting rifles: the Orev, 7.5 oz with its mount.
  • 9mm and rimfire: the Tisha 9mm and Shiv 9mm, and the Katan, Keren and Klik .22 cans. See the rest of the lineup.

The Tisha: Performance and Availability

The Tisha and the Exigent FireTeam556 have been hard to keep in stock in 2026.

The reason is what PEW Science measured: a 4.1 in. titanium can that rated higher on a 10.3 in. MK18 than any 5.56 suppressor PEW Science had tested, and with the highest shooter's ear rating on a self-loading 5.56 rifle in its rankings (see PEW Science).

Want one? If it's out of stock, sign up for the back-in-stock email on its product page, or call us at 512-879-1068 to pre-order one. We'll guarantee you one from the next shipment. You can also order through Stealth Additive Works' own site, and we handle the paperwork (see how to buy).

What PEW Science Measured

SuppressorHostAmmoSuppression RatingReport
Tisha 5.56 (titanium)10.3 in. MK18Federal XM193 55 gr49.6SSS.6.209
  • Highest rated 5.56 system. PEW Science found the Tisha outperforms every 5.56 suppression system it had evaluated, as of the December 2025 report, and called its "performance unprecedented, regardless of size."
  • Best at the shooter's ear. It produced the highest shooter's ear Suppression Rating on a self-loading 5.56 rifle in PEW Science's rankings to date.
  • Back pressure isn't high. PEW Science found the Tisha didn't add to ejection port blast on the standard MK18, despite a tighter bore than some competing cans.
  • As tested: 4.13 in. without a mount and 4.56 in. on a 1/2x28 direct thread mount; 8.9 oz core plus a 2.1 oz mount, 11 oz total.

Mounting

Mounts and Warranty

  • HUB rear. Every Tisha uses the 1.375x24 HUB thread, so it works with HUB direct thread and QD mounts. Shop rifle mounts.
  • Use the included brake on titanium cans. The titanium Tishas ship with a Q Plan B compatible HUB mount and brake. Use a brake like it for full-auto and hard use. PEW Science notes it helps protect the core from direct blast during heavy firing.
  • Plan B on more rifles. The Energetic Armament Project E is a Plan B style HUB mount that fits Q Cherry Bomb, Rearden and other Plan B pattern muzzle devices.
  • Don't use KeyMo. SAW's warranty doesn't cover damage from a KeyMo mount.
  • Lifetime warranty. SAW repairs or replaces damaged or defective products no matter how the damage happened, and the warranty transfers with the suppressor. It doesn't cover loss or theft, cosmetic damage, misuse or KeyMo damage (SAW warranty).
