DEAD AIR MOJAVE PISTON - PISTON FOR THE MOJAVE 9/45 SUPPRESSOR

The Dead Air Mojave Piston is the purpose-built piston for running the Dead Air Mojave 9 and Mojave 45 suppressors on tilting-barrel handguns. The Browning action design, requiring a piston, is used in the vast majority of modern semi-automatic pistols. Proper suppressor cycling starts with the right piston, and Dead Air engineered the Mojave Piston to ensure reliable function without sacrificing suppressor alignment or host pistol reliability. 

CAPITOL ARMORY'S OPINION

Most centerfire semi-auto pistols use a Browning action, and without a dedicated piston, attaching a suppressor can cause major cycling issues. The Mojave Piston solves this by allowing the barrel to properly unlock and tilt during the firing cycle with the suppressor attached, keeping your host pistol running as designed. It also supports use on fixed-barrel platforms when paired with the Dead Air Mojave 9 Fixed Barrel Spacer. The piston is an absolute requirement for running the Mojave 9 or 45 on a traditional pistol.
