DANIEL DEFENSE DDM4 PDW - 7" 300 BLACKOUT AR-15 PISTOL

The Daniel Defense DDM4 PDW is a compact 300 BLK AR15 style pistol that Daniel Defense built for home and personal defense. It pairs a 7" cold hammer forged S2W barrel with a pistol-length gas system, a 6" MFR XL M-LOK rail, and a Maxim Defense CQB Pistol Brace, all in a package that weighs 5.7 lbs and measures 20.75" to 24.75" overall with the muzzle device. It's available in Black (02-088-22070-047) and Cobalt (02-088-03260-047).

According to Daniel Defense, the 7" barrel keeps subsonic loads subsonic while still providing good ballistics for a short barrel, and its 1:7 twist works with both subsonic and supersonic ammunition. Up front, the Daniel Defense Linear Compensator directs muzzle blast forward of the shooter, and the 5/8x24 muzzle threads allow for muzzle device customization.

The Maxim Defense CQB Pistol Brace allows for compact, easy transport and continuous fire while fully collapsed. It's paired with Maxim's Enhanced Buffer System, which Daniel Defense says functions reliably suppressed or unsuppressed. The MFR XL 6.0 rail provides M-LOK attachment points and comes with an SLR M-LOK MOD2 Plain Front Handstop, and an independently ambidextrous GRIP-N-RIP Charging Handle with anti-gas features accommodates left- and right-handed shooters.

Daniel Defense designed the DDM4 PDW around home and personal defense, and the whole package reflects that. At 20.75" fully collapsed, it stores and moves easily, and 300 BLK gives you plenty of versatility out of a 7" barrel since it runs both subsonic and supersonic loads.

The Linear Compensator and short handguard make suppressor setup a bit more involved than on a standard AR, and we're happy to help you sort out what will work. The Cobalt finish is also a nice option if you want something that stands apart from a standard black build.
