B&T SPC9-PDW SD
When a small platform with some specific demands was requested, B&T produced the all-new SPC9. A new design was needed that had to meet the same handling and ergonomics as the AR-15 platform, but in a modernized and rethought design. Incorporating features from platforms such as the APC9, MP5, and AR allowed for a light, reliable, well-balanced, and accurate firearm. Recoil was reduced with the unique hydraulic buffer system, making the SPC9-PDW the lightest recoiling firearm in class.
When stored, the telescopic brace allows for a very compact firearm but can quickly be extended for use. It adds function but at a minimal weight and size footprint.
The integrated RBS (Reduced Backpressure Suppressor) crowns the 4.5" 1:10 barrel, keeping the audio signature at a minimum. With the reduction in backpressure, the SPC9 has softer recoil, less ejection port noise, and less blowback than the competition.
