Police trade-ins are one of the better values in the M4 world for one simple reason: price. These agency turn-ins were used on the job. You are getting a proven combat shotgun without breaking the bank. The Surefire forend features a quad rail, and allows for accessories to be mounted quickly. This is a plus for those who want to run a weapon light without adding the bulk or wobble of a clamp-on light and separate rail section. It is the same setup a lot of agencies specify because it works under stress, not because it looks good on a spec sheet. Trade-in guns will show honest use.
