The AAC 556-SD is a fast-attach 5.56 rifle suppressor based on the M4-2000, using AAC's 51T ratchet mounting system. The baffle core is 100% Inconel 718 with full circumferential welding, and the can is full auto rated. It is 6.7" long and 18 oz.

CAPITOL ARMORY'S OPINION
The AAC 556-SD is a more cost effective 5.56 suppressor than the M4-2000 and SR-5. While it's price point is reduced, the quality is not. One can think of the 556-SD as the "civilian" varient of their 5.56 lineup. Most shooters tend to use the 556-SD as a suppressor on a "backup" rifle, or one that may be put through rough conditions.
