SILENCERCO TOMD COMPACT RADIAL BRAKE - OMNIDIRECTIONAL MUZZLE BRAKE FOR SILENCER MOUNTING

The SilencerCo TOMD (Thread Over Muzzle Device) Compact Radial Brake is an omnidirectional muzzle brake designed for shooters who want effective recoil reduction and fast suppressor attachment in a minimal package. Because the radial brake design ports gas in all directions equally, no timing or shims are required during installation. Just thread it on, torque it down, and you're done. It is compatible with SilencerCo's TOM (Thread Over Mount) QD system, which means you get ASR-level attachment speed with the simplicity of a direct thread interface. Available in 1/2x28 with a .223/5.56 aperture, 1/2x28 with a 7.62 aperture, and 5/8x24 with a 7.62 aperture.

CAPITOL ARMORY'S OPINION

The TOMD Compact Radial Break is an interesting, but small, part of SilencerCo's lineup.  It's great for those who don't want to go with a direct thread installation, but want simplicity when it comes to mounting systems. There's no unneeded bulk, no mechanical latches to fail, no excess weight, and no timing required.  It follows the KISS methodology for shooters who value quiet shooting but don't care for unnecessary complexity. The only downside is the small footprint.  It's not cross-compatible and doesn't offer an array of thread pitch options, but it does what it's intended to do and does it well.
