The Q Honey Badger SD is a complete suppressed short barreled rifle package chambered in .300 AAC Blackout. It's the same system concept originally developed for a U.S. special operations unit seeking a compact, suppressed replacement for the MP5-SD. The second-generation Honey Badger SD refines that foundation with an improved adjustable gas system, a proprietary 2-stage cassette trigger, and a telescoping PDW stock enabled by a buffer system relocated into the upper receiver. The 7-inch barrel pairs with a 12-inch M-LOK handguard that extends over the integrated Honey Badger suppressor, creating a unified suppressed profile. Two NFA items. One cohesive system. This is one of the most compact and capable suppressed 300 Blackout SBRs available to civilian NFA owners.

Most suppressed SBR builds are assembled from separate components that happen to work together. The Honey Badger SD is not. Q engineered the rifle and suppressor as a single system, and it shows in the details. The 12-inch handguard extending over the suppressor is not just an aesthetic choice. It keeps the overall footprint compact while giving you a full-length rail and protecting the can from incidental contact. The PDW stock collapses to a small carry size because the buffer hardware lives in the upper receiver rather than hanging out the back of the rifle. The .300 Blackout chambering is perfect for this kind of platform. Subsonic loads are whisper-quiet through the Honey Badger suppressor, and the 1:5 twist barrel stabilizes the full range of .300 BLK projectile weights.
This is a two-stamp setup. If you are serious about a compact suppressed host and do not want to compromise on either the rifle or the can, the Honey Badger SD is the benchmark.

HONEY BADGER SD BY Q with Silencer
At first glance, The Honey Badger™SD by Q appears to be the same as the original. Q focused on taking the iconic ‘Badger to the next level and improved upon every technical aspect of the first-generation design. From the gas system to the trigger and telescoping stock – HB 2.0 does not disappoint.
The Honey Badger SD is a light PDW designed to be a cohesive unit, coming in at only 5 lbs 6 ounces. The two-position stock allows for a small footprint when stored. This is done by a proprietary buffer system allowing much of the hardware to be inside the upper receiver, rather than a buffer tube. The lower receiver will feel very natural to anyone who has used an AR-15 style rifle, but the Q trigger will make them feel like a superhero. A longer 12" rail sits over the adjustable gas block, 7" barrel, and much of the Honey Badger silencer.
