How to Choose a Diligent Defense Suppressor
Diligent Defense Co. is based in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania, and designs, engineers, tests and manufactures all of its products and components in-house. The lineup is small and easy to sort by caliber: the Enticer family for .30 cal rifles, the Wolf Hunter for 6mm and smaller, the DTF family for .338 Lapua Magnum and 8.6 BLK, and the Road Hunter for rimfire.
Every Diligent Defense centerfire suppressor is 1.625 in. in diameter and has a HUB (1.375x24) rear thread, so it takes HUB mounts from Diligent and other makers. Diligent backs its suppressors with its No BS lifetime warranty when you follow the published barrel lengths and firing schedules.

Titanium for less
The titanium Enticers cost less than most titanium .30 cal suppressors we carry, and they perform as well as or better than titanium suppressors that cost more. The Enticer L-Ti is the second-lowest-priced full-size (8 in. or longer) titanium .30 cal suppressor on our site. At the 2024 Silencer Summit, it read within 0.4 dBA of the quietest suppressor on the 20 in. .308 bolt gun, a titanium suppressor that costs hundreds more, and it was quieter than that same suppressor on subsonic 300 BLK. The shorter Enticer S-Ti read quieter on the .308 bolt gun than titanium suppressors that cost hundreds more.
Steel that costs less
The steel Enticers are some of the best values in .30 cal suppressors. Steel or Titanium? S or L?
The Enticer comes in four versions: two lengths, each in steel or titanium. The S is 6.75 in. long and the L is 8.25 in. Both lengths share the same 1.625 in. diameter, HUB rear thread and caliber rating.

- Steel (Enticer S and L): 100% CNC machined 17-4 stainless steel, laser welded and heat treated. Heavier, but it handles more rapid fire before it needs to cool, and it costs less.
- Titanium (Enticer S-Ti and L-Ti): 100% CNC machined 6-4 titanium, laser welded. Pick titanium for rifles you carry, like hunting and precision rifles. The Wolf Hunter, DTF and Road Hunter are titanium too.
None of the Enticers are full-auto rated. The Enticer and DTF families are built tubeless, so the full diameter goes to internal volume instead of an outer tube.
What PEW Science and the Silencer Summit Measured
PEW Science tested the titanium Enticers in 2022, and Thunder Beast Arms tested five Diligent Defense suppressors at the 2024 Silencer Summit. Here are the highlights:
- Enticer L-Ti, SSS.6.67: a Suppression Rating of 51.9 on a 20 in. .308 bolt gun, the highest at-ear Suppression Rating on that platform of any suppressor PEW Science had tested at the time.
- Enticer L-Ti, SSS.6.88: a Suppression Rating of 65.5 on an 8 in. 300 BLK with subsonic ammo.
- 2024 Silencer Summit: the Enticer L-Ti tied for the 5th lowest reading of 96 suppressor setups on a 20 in. .308 bolt gun, and the Wolf Hunter was 7th lowest of 92 on a 16 in. 5.56 AR.

Diligent Defense .30 Cal Suppressors: the Enticer Family

The Enticer S is the short, stainless steel Enticer. At 6.75 in. it's a mid-size .30 cal suppressor that runs on 5.56 carbines, 300 BLK SBRs and .308 rifles.

Diligent Defense Enticer S-Ti
The Enticer S-Ti is the titanium version of the Enticer S: the same 6.75 in. length at 9.3 oz with the included mount, for hunting and precision rifles where weight matters.

Diligent Defense Enticer L
The Enticer L is the full-size, stainless steel Enticer. The extra length adds internal volume for more suppression, and the steel build handles more rapid fire than titanium.

The Enticer L-Ti is the full-size titanium Enticer. It's 8.25 in. long and weighs 10.5 oz with the included mount.

PEW Science: On a 20 in. .308 bolt gun (SSS.6.67), it earned a Suppression Rating of 51.9 and "the highest at-ear Suppression Rating on this platform of any silencer tested by PEW Science, to date" as of March 2022. On an 8 in. 300 BLK with subsonic ammo (SSS.6.88), it earned 65.5.

Diligent Defense 6mm Suppressor: Wolf Hunter

Diligent Defense Wolf Hunter
The Wolf Hunter is Diligent Defense's 6mm hunting suppressor. It's titanium, 6.75 in. long and 9.1 oz, with a 0.281 in. bore for 5.56, .223 and 6mm cartridges.

Two direct thread mounts come in the box, so it's ready for most 5.56 and 6mm rifles. It isn't full-auto rated; Diligent recommends keeping it below 800°F.

Diligent Defense .338 and 8.6 BLK Suppressors: DTF-STi and DTF-LTi
The DTF family takes the Enticer baffle technology to a 0.400 in. bore for .338 Lapua Magnum and 8.6 BLK. Both are titanium and ship without a mount, so add a HUB mount or Diligent's titanium direct thread adapter. Shop all .338 and large bore suppressors.

The Road Hunter is a 100% titanium rimfire suppressor for rifles and pistols. It's 4.5 oz and 5.1875 in. long, and it covers .22 LR, .17 HMR, .22 WMR and 5.7x28.

Remove the direct thread adapter or end cap to pull the baffles for cleaning. The baffles are keyed and labeled, so they go back in the right order.

Diligent Defense Mounts and Accessories
Every Diligent Defense centerfire suppressor uses the HUB (1.375x24) rear thread, so you can run Diligent's mounts or another maker's HUB mounts.
Ti Direct Thread Adapter
The Ti Direct Thread Adapter is machined from 6-4 titanium and adds 1/4 in. to the length of your suppressor. We carry it in 1/2x28, 5/8x24 and 5/8x24 Sig taper. It fits Diligent Defense's HUB suppressors and other HUB suppressors.
Zilch HUB Adapter
The Zilch HUB Adapter lets a HUB suppressor lock onto Cherry Bomb style muzzle devices while adding only 3/16 in. of length. It's 1.5 oz of 6-4 titanium. Compatible muzzle devices we carry include the Q Cherry Bomb and Rear End, Rearden R2S, SPB and FHD, and Liberty Precision Eclipse and Liberty Bell.
End Caps
Diligent Defense end caps fit the Enticer, DTF and Wolf Hunter. They come in 17-4 stainless or 6-4 titanium, install with a T60 internal drive, and come in smaller bores that improve suppression on smaller calibers.

What is the best Diligent Defense suppressor?
It depends on the rifle. For one .30 cal suppressor across most rifles, the Enticer S (steel) or Enticer S-Ti (titanium). For the most suppression on .30 cal, the Enticer L or L-Ti. For 5.56 and 6mm hunting rifles, the Wolf Hunter. For .338 Lapua Magnum and 8.6 BLK, the DTF-STi or DTF-LTi. For rimfire, the Road Hunter.
What is the difference between the Enticer S and the Enticer L?
Length and suppression. The Enticer S is 6.75 in. and the Enticer L is 8.25 in. Both have the same diameter, caliber rating, HUB rear thread and included 5/8x24 mount.
Should I buy the steel or titanium Enticer?
Titanium is lighter: the Enticer S-Ti is 9.3 oz vs. 13.8 oz for the steel Enticer S. Steel handles more rapid fire before it needs to cool (120 rounds of 5.56 vs. 50) and costs less.
How did the Enticer do in PEW Science testing?
