GRIFFIN ARMAMENT HUB DUAL-LOK 7 AM SUPPRESSOR - FULL-AUTO RATED, HUB MOUNT

The Griffin Armament HUB DUAL-LOK 7 AM Silencer is a full-auto rated, managed backpressure .30 caliber (7.62mm) suppressor built for AR-15, AR-10, and other semi-automatic and select-fire rifles. Griffin prints it from its proprietary Nickel 625X powder alloy using SLM additive manufacturing, and the suppressor combines Nickel 625X with 17-4 H900 stainless steel. It measures 6.6" long and 1.5" in diameter, weighs 14.7 oz, and wears a black Cerakote finish. Griffin rates it at 120.3 dB (-31.9 dB) on a 9.5" MK2 in .300 BLK and 132.0 dB (-33.4 dB) on a 16" Troy in .308.

Inside, the HUB DUAL-LOK 7 AM uses a managed backpressure baffle stack paired with a flash hider end cap. Griffin says the end cap vents gases peripherally to reduce system backpressure, which softens recoil impulse, reduces wear on the host firearm, and lowers the shooter's exposure to toxic gases. The printed core is laser-welded to a machined rear section. According to Griffin's testing, Nickel 625X showed roughly a 68% increase in yield and tensile strength over additively manufactured INCONEL 625 at 1200°F.

The rear of the suppressor is threaded HUB (1.375x24), so it accepts Griffin's HUB mount adapters as well as HUB mounts from other manufacturers. It ships without a muzzle device or mount, leaving you free to choose a QD system or a direct thread mount for your rifle. Griffin lists no minimum barrel length restrictions for rifle calibers, though it notes that longer barrels promote longer service life.

CAPITOL ARMORY'S OPINION

We see the HUB DUAL-LOK 7 AM as a hard-use can for semi-auto and select-fire rifles. Most buyers are going to run it on an AR-15, AR-10, SCAR, or something similar, and that's where it shines, but it works on a bolt-action rifle too. It was designed for tactical use and excels in the kind of shooting that pushes most normal silencers to their limits.

The additive build is a big part of why we like it. Printing lets Griffin design internals that traditional manufacturing simply can't produce, and here that means a managed backpressure stack built to keep gas out of your face. Less backpressure also means less wear on your rifle, softer recoil, and less exposure to toxic gases.

We also like the flexibility of the HUB rear. You can use nearly any industry-standard mounting system on the market, so you can stick with your preferred QD method or keep the whole setup short and light with a direct thread mount.
