Barrett Firearms is best known for defining the .50 BMG rifle category, and that same engineering discipline carries directly into their suppressor program. Their flagship suppressor, the QDL, is the only purpose-built .50 BMG can on the market, designed from the ground up to handle the extreme pressures and forces of that cartridge rather than adapted from a smaller-caliber platform. The QDL mounts via a proprietary quick-detach system using a quarter-turn lock ring for guaranteed alignment on every attachment, and pairs with Barrett's recoil-reducing muzzle brake. It is rated for full-auto fire and delivers 23 dB of sound reduction across compatible platforms including the M107A1, Model 99, and Model 95.

Barrett suppressors are constructed from 4130 steel with a dual-layer tube and redundant 360-degree CNC-welded baffle stacks, finished in Black or FDE Cerakote.
