SilencerCo Alpha, Bravo & Charlie Mount Guide

SilencerCo uses three rear mount patterns: Alpha (1.125x28), Bravo (1.375x24, also called HUB) and Charlie (1.375x32). The rear mount pattern determines which ASR mounts, pistons, 3-lug mounts and adapters fit the suppressor. This guide covers the thread pitch for each pattern, the suppressors that use it, and the mounts and adapters that fit.

The three mount patterns are not interchangeable. An Alpha mount won't fit a Bravo suppressor, and a Bravo (HUB) mount won't fit a Charlie suppressor. Using parts across patterns requires one of the adapters below.

1.125x28

SilencerCo Alpha Mount (1.125x28)

Alpha is SilencerCo's pistol suppressor mount pattern. It uses a 1.125x28 rear thread on SilencerCo's 9mm and .45 suppressors.

Alpha Suppressor Mount Options

  • Pistons: used with tilting-barrel semi-auto pistols. Shop SilencerCo pistons.
  • Direct thread (fixed barrel) mounts: used on fixed-barrel hosts that don't need a piston, including pistol caliber carbines
  • 3-lug mounts: the SilencerCo 3-Lug Mount (AC2447 for 9mm, AC2448 for .45) fits Alpha suppressors directly and works with MP5-pattern and other 3-lug hosts
  • Alpha ASR mount: SilencerCo's quick-attach system. The Alpha ASR mount is AC2632.

Suppressors That Use the Alpha Mount

  • SilencerCo: Omega 9K, Omega 45K, Spectre 9, Spectre 9K
  • HUXWRX: RAD 9, RAD 45, CA$H 9K (1.125x28). The HUXWRX 3-Lug Mount fits 1.125x28 suppressors.
  • Rugged: Obsidian 9 and Obsidian 45 fixed mounts use 1.125x28

Older SilencerCo models: the Octane 9, Octane 45 and Harvester 300 are discontinued, and all three use Alpha mounts. The Harvester 300 is a rifle suppressor that uses the Alpha pattern. Its replacement, the Harvester Evo, uses the Bravo (HUB) mount.

1.375x24

SilencerCo Bravo Mount (1.375x24 HUB)

The SilencerCo Bravo thread pitch is 1.375x24. SilencerCo introduced it on the Omega 300 in 2014, and other suppressor makers later adopted it. Today, most people call it HUB. Bravo and HUB use the same thread, so a SilencerCo Bravo suppressor is HUB compatible. Because the pattern is used across so many brands, Bravo (HUB) offers a wide selection of mounts and adapters.

Suppressors That Use the Bravo (HUB) Mount

  • SilencerCo: Omega 300, Hybrid 46, Harvester Evo, Scythe-Ti, Scythe-STM
  • Dead Air: Nomad series, Sandman-X, Primal, Sierra 5. Dead Air's KeyMo and Xeno mounts thread onto the HUB rear.
  • HUXWRX: Ventum 556, Ventum 762, Flow 9K. The Flow 9K ships with a HUB piston housing adapter.
  • Rugged: Alaskan 360
  • Yankee Hill Machine: all steel centerfire YHM suppressors, including the Turbo, Fat Cat, Resonator, R9 and R45
  • Energetic Armament: Peak 30, Lux, VOX

Bravo (HUB) Mount Options

  • SilencerCo Bravo ASR mount: the Bravo ASR mount is AC824, SilencerCo's quick-attach mount for Bravo (HUB) suppressors
  • Direct thread HUB mounts: available from several makers in common barrel thread pitches
  • SilencerCo Bravo Piston Mount: AC1417 lets the Hybrid 46 use SilencerCo pistons and the 3-lug mount
  • Dead Air KeyMo and Xeno: the KeyMo Adapter DA428 and the Xeno Adapter DA455 are the HUB versions

1.375x32

SilencerCo Charlie Mount (1.375x32)

The SilencerCo Charlie thread pitch is 1.375x32. Charlie is a SilencerCo-specific mounting system used by few other manufacturers. It was designed for high heat and sustained fire. The Charlie ASR mount uses a tapered insert that is shorter and lighter than SilencerCo's earlier mounts and seats consistently.

Suppressors That Use the Charlie Mount

  • Omega 36M: Charlie only. It takes ASR, direct thread, piston and 3-lug mounts.
  • Hybrid 46M: ships with a Charlie ASR mount
  • Velos LBP 556 and 762: ship with an ASR mount

Older SilencerCo models: the Saker ASR and Chimera 300 are discontinued, and both use Charlie mounts. Trifecta was the older Saker mounting system, not a separate thread pattern.

Charlie Mount Options

  • SilencerCo Charlie ASR mount: the Charlie ASR mount is AC622
  • SilencerCo Charlie Piston Mount: AC4751 accepts SilencerCo pistons and the 3-lug mount
  • SilencerCo direct thread and TOM mounts
  • Third-party Charlie mounts: Dead Air KeyMo DA429, Q Plan-B, Griffin Plan-A and Rearden Atlas Charlie XL. See Charlie to HUB below.
Adapters

Alpha to Bravo, Bravo to Alpha and Charlie to HUB Adapters

The three patterns do not thread directly into one another, and SilencerCo does not make an adapter between them. A few parts allow accessories from one pattern to be used with a suppressor that has another.

Third-party Alpha to Bravo adapters thread into an Alpha suppressor and provide a 1.375x24 interface. SilencerCo doesn't make them, so confirm fit with the adapter manufacturer before buying.

Charlie to HUB: Use Third-Party Mounts on a Charlie Suppressor

Third-party Charlie to HUB adapters are available, but SilencerCo doesn't make them. Another option is to use a Charlie version of the mounting system you want. These thread directly onto a Charlie suppressor:

The Dead Air Xeno Adapter comes in a HUB version (DA455) and a 1.125x28 version (DA458).

Alpha vs. Bravo vs. Charlie: Which Fits Your Setup

  • Alpha: for SilencerCo suppressors used on pistols and pistol caliber carbines.
  • Bravo (HUB): for the broadest selection of mounts and adapters across brands.
  • Charlie: for high-volume SilencerCo rifle suppressors such as the Omega 36M or Hybrid 46M.

Is SilencerCo Bravo the same as HUB?

Yes. Both are 1.375x24. SilencerCo introduced it on the Omega 300 in 2014, and other makers call it HUB.

Can I use an Alpha mount on a Bravo suppressor?

Not directly. Alpha is 1.125x28 and Bravo is 1.375x24, so the threads do not match. A booster housing such as the Resilient Titanium Booster Housing lets a HUB suppressor use Alpha pistons and 3-lug mounts.

Is there an Alpha to Bravo adapter?

SilencerCo doesn't make one. Third-party Alpha to Bravo adapters are available, so confirm fit with the adapter manufacturer before buying.

Can I use HUB mounts on a Charlie suppressor?

Not directly. Third-party Charlie to HUB adapters are available, but SilencerCo doesn't make them. Dead Air, Q, Griffin and Rearden make Charlie versions of their mounts that thread directly onto a Charlie suppressor.

Which mount pattern does the Omega 36M use?

Charlie. It takes ASR, direct thread, piston and 3-lug mounts in the Charlie pattern.
