Gather What You Need

A black ink pen and our At-Home Fingerprint Kit. Individuals submit one card. Trusts and entities submit one card per responsible person.

Fill Out the FD-258 Card

Complete the top fields. Use the tables below for race, hair, and eye color codes. Reason fingerprinted can be “NFA Transfer”.

Roll Your Prints

Practice on scrap paper. Roll each finger in the top rows. Use plain impressions for both thumbs and the four-finger slaps at the bottom. Clear and centered is best.

Mail to Capitol Armory or Upload EFT

If you bought our kit, return postage and packaging are included. We digitize and store your prints to speed up future orders.
