YHM Resonator R2

QUIET, LIGHTWEIGHT, COST-EFFECTIVE

The Resonator R2 is an updated version of YHM's best-selling Resonator.  Originally designed to provide the shooter with a quiet, light, and cost-effective suppressor, the R2 does that and more.  It can be used on various weapons and calibers and is rated for everything ranging from .17 HMR to 300 Remington Ultra Mag.   Like the Turbo series, the Resonator R2 uses a tubeless design made from heat-treated 17-4 stainless steel with a 718 Inconel blast baffle.  This maximizes volume, reduces weight, and allows the suppressor to be full auto-rated and handle rigorous use.  It also features the same thread pitch for mounting systems as the famous SilencerCo Omega, Dead Air Nomad, and Energetic Armament Vox.  This allows for YHM's QD mounting system, direct thread options, ASR, Key-Mo, Q's Plan-B, and many other possible mounting solutions.

The Resonator 2 from YHM is filled with features people desire in a modern 7.62 silencer.  Its moderate weight and length aren't too long or heavy for most firearms, its tubeless design allows for more volume (resulting in better decibel reduction), and it's got a modular mounting system.  Aside from the outstanding balance of size, weight, and dB reduction, the mounting system makes the R2 shine.  It utilizes the same thread pitch popularized by the SilencerCo Omega and later used on several other suppressors.  This has resulted in half a dozen mounting options for the R2 and any suppressor with the same thread pitch for the mounting system.  This is important for two reasons.  One is future-proofing the suppressor, as more companies are making parts that can be used, which translates to a smaller chance of everything being unavailable.  Perhaps the more desirable part is the ability to use a mounting system you may already be invested in or prefer over YHM's.  The outstanding balance and flexibility of the R2 comes in at a fantastic price point and should be on anyone's radar who wants a versatile, well-rounded rifle suppressor.
