COMPACT 12 GAUGE SUPPRESSION

The Salvo 12 from SilencerCo was the first commercial option for quieting down a 12 gauge.  While the 12" configuration sounded fantastic, many shooters enjoyed the 8" for both hunting and defensive use.  Many times ultimate decibel reduction are put aside in favor of a smaller overall footprint.  Because of the popularity of the 8" configuration, especially on SBS hosts, SilencerCo released the Remington 870 and Salvo Summit package.  This was a one-time, never-to-be-released again item.  Because of it's popularity and client's enjoyment of the 8" variant it came with, SilencerCo has released the Salvo K.

The Salvo K is sold in the 8" length at a reduced price.  Additional Rod kits, to shorten the Salvo to 6", are available for purchase and can be easily installed at home.

CAPITOL ARMORY'S OPINION

For hunting use, installation on a short barrel shotgun, or in a defensive situation the 8" configuration of the Salvo is idea.  While it's not as quiet as the full size version, it is substantially smaller.  Many shooters enjoyed the Salvo, but only ran it in the shorter versions.  The Salvo K offers the same Salvo 12, but at a cheaper price point and only available in the 8" variant.  While it can't be purchased in the ultra-short 6" version, the user can pick up the shorter rod kits to knock a couple inches off.  The Salvo K is ideal for those who enjoy shotguns, but don't have a need for the full length version and wish to save a few dollars.
