SHIPPING POLICY

What is the cost of shipping?

All accessories ship for a flat rate of $4.95, regardless of the amount purchased. Suppressors ship for a flat rate of $19.95 and ship via USPS and usually recommend a UPS upgrade for most firearm-related packages. In some cases, specifically bulk ammunition, an extra charge is built-in to the product price to accommodate the heavier weight and additional charges conveyed by the carrier to Capitol Armory.

When will my order ship?

Accessory orders placed before 1 PM CT usually ship the same day. Accessory orders placed after 1 PM CT ship the following business day. NFA items require approval before shipment and will be shipped within 24-48 business hours of receiving approval from the BATFE.

Where does Capitol Armory ship to?

Capitol Armory ships to consumers and dealers within the United States. Many products on CapitolArmory.com are regulated by federal, state, and local governments, and not all products are available or legal in all locales. The purchaser is responsible for ensuring each item is legal in their state and local vicinity. Capitol Armory will not ship or transfer to states where items are known to be prohibited.

What shipping carrier does Capitol Armory use?

UPS is our carrier of choice for firearm-related packages; however, we utilize USPS for select products. If you select USPS for your shipping provider, please note that all packages are experiencing delays of up to 4 weeks and with limited tracking capability. We recommend selecting UPS for those customers who wish to accurately track their packages or require their items promptly. USPS provides an affordable delivery option and delivers 99.9% of the packages sent, but delivery may be delayed.

How do I track my package?

When your product ships, we will provide a tracking number via email. You can also log in to your account to view the tracking number for your order. If you select USPS as your shipping provider, you may have limited tracking capability.

What if my package is lost during shipping?

Capitol Armory will ensure you receive your purchase. If an item is not received and the time frame estimated for the shipping service you selected has been exceeded, we will send a replacement product. Additionally, many packages sent via USPS do not track correctly. We strongly suggest choosing the UPS shipping option instead of USPS if you want accurate tracking information.

Can you ship a suppressor to my residence?

Yes, we can ship directly to your home if you live in a suppressor-friendly state. All NFA items are shipped via UPS ground; an adult signature is required.
 

RETURN POLICY

What is Capitol Armory's return policy?


NFA Items:

To maintain our goal of providing fantastic customer service and competitive pricing, a 10% cancellation fee is applied to any canceled order where a serial number is assigned during the order process. This 10% cancellation fee applies to most orders and only applies to orders where Capitol Armory has not initiated the BATFE transfer process, and the return request was made within thirty days of purchase. The 10% cancelation fee is waived if the return request is made within seven days of purchase.

Return requests or cancelations after thirty days do not qualify for a refund. If the BATFE transfer process has not been initiated and the return request is made after thirty days from the order date, the paid amount minus a 35% restocking fee will be issued as a store credit for use within six months of the cancellation request.

Capitol Armory does not issue store credits or returns if the BATFE transfer process has been initiated and a return request is made thirty days after the order date. If your state or residence changes after the BATFE transfer process is initiated, a $95 refiling fee will be charged to cover our time refiling your forms. That refiling fee is waived for Military members who receive PCS travel orders. If your BATFE transfer is denied, Capitol Armory will refile one time, free of charge, and advise on how to refile.

Pre-orders, manufacturer promotions, promotional items, and shipped orders do not qualify for a refund. Paid BATFE taxes do not qualify for a refund (IE, we have initiated your BATFE paperwork).

Capitol Armory has no control over NFA processing/approval times and/or the availability of the ATF eForms website for electronic filing. Capitol Armory will not issue store credits or returns due to NFA processing/approval times, ATF eForms outages, or any changes to processing/approval procedures implemented by the ATF.
 

Firearms:

We do not accept returns for firearms. Orders placed and not shipped are subject to a 10% cancellation fee.

Accessories:

We are happy to process returns within seven days of delivery if the product(s) are unused and in their original packaging and condition. All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Shipping charges are not refundable. Shipping fees for returns to Capitol Armory are the customer's sole responsibility. We highly encourage all returns to Capitol Armory to be sent with tracking and insurance to ensure the correct and safe delivery of the accessory being returned or exchanged. Ammunition:

We do not accept returns for ammunition.
 

Services and Trusts:

Custom work, services, gunsmithing, service fees, and digital downloads such as NFA Gun Trusts are non-refundable.
 

Easy Pay Orders:

Easy Pay service fees and down payments are non-refundable. If your Easy Pay order is eligible for a refund, any amount remaining after applicable restocking fees are applied will be available in the form of a credit that must be used within 90 days of the credit issuance. Service fees may be waived if the order is paid in full within seven (7) days of purchase.
